The movie is all set to release on March 8, 2023, but it was recently rumoured that the makers are planning to pre-pone the release date.
It was rumoured that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar might release on March 7 instead of March 8. According to Etimes, there were contemplating releasing the film a day earlier because of the confusion about Holi’s date. However, it has been confirmed that Holi is March 8 and the movie will also release on the same date.
“The release is not being postponed. It is true that we were contemplating such a move, as there was some confusion about the date of Holi this year in some states. While in most states, Holi was locked in for March 8, in some states like Rajasthan, the date for Holi was not clear. Some calendars said it was on March 7 in some states. So we thought of preponing by a day. However now the confusion is cleared. Holi is on March 8 in every state of India. We are coming on March 8,” a source close to the development was quoted as saying by Etimes.
